society is working wonders. Not only are the students in the society taught

The commerce society is ably handed by Dr. A. Vidyarthi. Discussions are held on
recent economic developments and especially the recent changes in foreign
policies, growth of multinationals in our country and management, career options
etc.

The debating society is aimed at encouraging and equipping children to express
their views in a clear and convincing manner. This society helps in enhancing
faculties like - fluency, refined speech, vocabulary, knowledge of the world,
power of persuasion and the speaker's ? . All these traits are learnt under the
able guidance of Mrs. K. Kak (English) and Mrs. Nidhi (Hindi).

The new breed of actors currently in training in the school premises may not be
subjects of widespread adulation but they are, undoubtedly no less talented than
the professionals. Their rigorous efforts to put up an impressive display of
their prolific aptitudes has worked wonders for these exuberant artists who put
up a play on Founder's day every year. Mrs M. Khanna looks after the Hindi
dramatics while Mrs. R. Chatterjee and Mr. K. Kaur are responsible for English.

The aim of the society is to explore the subtle, intangible, elusive uses of
that unique tool that distinguishes human beings from all other forms of life -
speech. The society toils to instill the confidence of an ardent leader in the
students a confidence that would mould the child into a formidable figure full
of self-reliance and would develop a personality free from stage fright. But the
stress is laid on the finer aspect of the art towards the diction, modulation,
pronounciation and clarity of speech. The accomplishments of the students can be
attributed to the exertion of our teachers Mrs. S. Mishra and Mrs. P. Biswas
(English) and Mrs. S.R. Singh and Mrs. S. Chaturvedi (Hindi) who are
instrumental in the evolution of these young orators.

The primary aim of the society is to create an awareness and sensitivity amongst
the children , its conservation and improvement. Many children participate in
several workshops within the school and outside too, where they learn the
importance of the environment. Mrs. S. Pandey is the teacher in-charge of this

warming, currents, extremities of climate, inter-planetary movements and many

also working on a group basis. The students regularly take note of the recent
additions in this field from magazines and newspapers. They arrange lectures and

in the heart of every student. LT serves as agents of social transformation
prepare to spread happiness among the unhappy. The society helps us in gaining
confidence and makes us outspoken, extrovert, self reliant and responsible
individuals. This society mainly aims at social service. Dr. A. Chatterjee is
the teacher-in-charge of this society.

The real appreciation of mathematics or getting the feel of it is not possible
perhaps in regular classroom teaching. At society meetings, the students discuss
not only the history and philosophical aspects of the subject but also some of
the basic concepts and their application. They also master many new skills and
techniques of learning maths under the guidance of Mr. D. Sharma.

spiritual ecstasy and contemplation. The main aim is "to dive into the depths of
time and bring out the ages that have rolled, a few small fragments of those
wrecks subline which human eyes may never behold" To revive the old culture,
traditions and value of our country the students discuss and analyze each and
every mythological story and try to imbibe the message under the able guidance
of Dr. (Mrs.) P. Srivastava.
